The Rave is hosting the first event of the 11th Big Snow Show featuring The Head and The Heart, Fitz and The Tantrums, Jimmy Eat World and Bishop Briggs. The show will take place on Friday, December 2nd, 2016.
The Head and The Heart
A six piece indie - folk band will headline the Big Snow Show. The Head and The Heart regrouped after a hiatus in 2014 had allowed their creative juices to recharge. The result of the band's coming-together is their latest album titled "Signs of Light," released on September 9th of 2016. The album features their current hit "All We Ever Knew". The Head and The Heart's self titled album from 2011 became a bestseller and originally put them on the map, and features other notable tracks like "Lost in My Mind" and "Down in the Valley".
Fitz and The Tantrums
Fitz and the Tantrums is a New Wave-influenced take on a unique dance-pop sound and style. After their formation in the early 2000's, Fitz and the Tantrums has grown and evolved into what it has become today, collaborating with producers and songwriters from bands like Panic! at the Disco and Twenty One Pilots. Their new self-titled album was released in June of 2016, featuring one of their biggest hits to date, "HandClap". HandClap received over a million listeners in the first week it was released. Fitz and The Tantrums is also most notably known for their songs "Out of My League" and "The Walker".
Jimmy Eat World
Throughout the punk-pop era of the early 2000's to present day, Jimmy Eat World has never failed to produce an album that isn't arguably better than the last. Fifteen years after the release of "Bleed American", the band has released their newest album, "Integrity Blues". Bleed American, released in 2001, features "The Middle" and "Sweetness". Integrity Blues is proof of the band's evolution, giving off an Alt Rock feel. The album has been positively perceived in the music world and features their song "Sure and Certain".
Formerly known as BISHOP, Bishop Briggs is an indie-pop artist named after the hometown of her family, Bishopbriggs, Scotland. Briggs has gained popularity after the released her of current hit "River", and the release of "Wild Horses". After being featured as a co-headlinder for UW Milwaukee's Pantherfest concert at the Summerfest grounds, Briggs is returning to Milwaukee as a supporting act. Her setlist includes many of her singles released in 2016.
